The Sustainable Flower School: Vase Arrangements
The Sustainable Flower School is launching Sustainable Floristry educational sessions for floral designers. Two day sessions and half day intensives are available. Are you a designer looking to be more sustainable in your practice? Do you want to develop more artistry and creativity in your designs?
This two day session will focus on designs in containers for table top and statement display. From designing in the round, to creating designs in low shallow containers, we will cover it all. Come learn the tips and tricks of using sustainable structures and support for beautiful and creative designs that can be travel friendly and bodacious accents to events. All workshops are spread over two days and will take place at the Gorgeous and Green Studio and outdoor garden or at the indoor photo and film studio of Mama Dog Studios. Price includes lessons, all materials and tools needed, as well as snacks and a light lunch. Professional photos of your work may be provided dependent on workshop size.
Taught by Pilar Zuniga, the owner and lead designer at Gorgeous and Green, this will be a download of methods and insight she has learned and developed over the past 15 years of having a sustainable flower shops, designing large scale events and weddings that use local and sustainable materials/methods, lessons she’s learned offering local and sustainable flower delivery and even setting up her cutting and growing gardens. Some flowers kindly donated by @BlumaFarm and @FigoneNursery
